ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Annapolis Police have identified 27-year-old Samuel Sheeder of Annapolis as the victim of a fatal scooter crash that occurred Sunday evening, September 28, 2025.
Officers responded at approximately 6:58 p.m. to the intersection of West Street and Brewer Avenue, where they discovered a single-vehicle crash involving a motorized scooter.
According to the preliminary investigation, Sheeder struck a curb and lost control of the scooter. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Sheeder suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
