SELMA, Ala. – A deadly drive-by shooting shook the city of Selma on Sunday night, leaving one woman dead and three others wounded at a local apartment complex.
The shooting occurred around 8:00 p.m. at the Chanticleer Apartments on the 1200 block of Woodrow Avenue. According to Lt. Ray Blanks of the Selma Police Department, the victim has been identified as 59-year-old Edwina Russaw, who tragically lost her life in the attack.
Three additional victims were injured during the incident and are currently receiving medical care. Their conditions have not yet been released.
As of now, no arrests have been made. Selma police are continuing their investigation and urging anyone with information to come forward.
