PITTSTON, LUZERNE CO. – A 19-year-old woman from Pittston was killed Thursday night following a motorcycle crash at the intersection of South Main Street and Kennedy Boulevard, according to police.
Authorities identified the victim as Kylie Vanosdol. Investigators said she was riding her motorcycle shortly after 9 p.m. when she collided with a Jeep at the busy intersection. Police confirmed that Vanosdol was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported her to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries. The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
