FULTONDALE — A 68-year-old man has died following a multi-vehicle crash in Fultondale, authorities reported.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Jeffery L. Works, a resident of New Castle. The crash occurred at 10:58 p.m. Wednesday on Carson Road North at the intersection with Decatur Highway.
Emergency responders transported Works to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 1:38 p.m. Thursday.
