PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. — Authorities have identified the man who tragically lost his life in a multi-vehicle crash near Parkers Prairie on Sunday morning as David Anderson, 45, of Miltona.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the fatal collision occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Highway 29. Anderson was traveling northbound on his motorcycle when a van ahead of him began turning into a driveway. The motorcycle collided with the van, and moments later, Anderson was struck by a passing car.

Emergency personnel from multiple agencies responded to the scene, including troopers from the Minnesota State Patrol, deputies from Otter Tail and Douglas Counties, the Parkers Prairie Fire Department, the Department of Natural Resources, Parkers Prairie Ambulance, and North Ambulance Service.

Sadly, David Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. The drivers of the van and the car were not injured in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic accident. David Anderson will be remembered by his loved ones and community for the life he lived and the impact he made.
