CALHOUN, Ga. — Authorities have confirmed that Mark Holt, 54, of Calhoun, tragically died following a single-vehicle crash Monday evening on Harmony Church Road.
According to the Gordon County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred on October 20, 2025, and Holt succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident. Emergency crews responded quickly, but despite their efforts, Holt was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The Coroner’s Office is assisting the Georgia State Patrol during its investigation and extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Holt,” said Gordon County Coroner Nick Blalock in a statement.
The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash to determine what led to the fatal incident.
