The Mobile community is mourning the tragic and heartbreaking loss of Amiayah Kiana White, 28, who was fatally shot late Tuesday night at Wilmer Hall on Old Shell Road.
According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m. on October 21, 2025, where they found Amiayah deceased inside the building. Investigators say she was shot by a known male subject during an incident that occurred within the residence. Despite the swift efforts of emergency responders, Amiayah’s injuries were fatal.
Police have arrested David Smith, 21, in connection with the shooting. He has been charged with capital murder as the investigation continues. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Mobile Police Department or submit an anonymous tip online.
