OXON HILL, Md. — The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a deadly crash that occurred early Sunday morning on Oxon Hill Road. The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Percell Jerome Veney Jr. of Alexandria, Virginia.

According to authorities, the collision occurred at approximately 12:55 a.m. on October 26, 2025, in the 6300 block of Oxon Hill Road. Preliminary reports indicate that Veney was traveling westbound when, for reasons still under investigation, he crossed into the eastbound turning lane and struck another vehicle.

Veney was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle, an adult woman, was transported to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition.

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is asking anyone with information to call 301-731-4422.
