It is with deep sorrow that we share the tragic passing of Cheyenne Sears, a devoted wife, loving mother, and compassionate nurse. Cheyenne passed away on October 24, 2025, just six days after giving birth to her twins, Caisley Nicole and Cohen Scott, following a devastating car accident on State Road 67 near Paragon, Indiana.

Cheyenne served as Assistant Director of Health Services at The Springs of Mooresville, where her dedication, kindness, and care for others left a lasting impact on colleagues, residents, and families. She was admired for her warmth, empathy, and ability to make everyone feel valued.

Friends and family remember Cheyenne as “the light in every room,” known for her infectious laugh, radiant smile, and signature greeting, “Hi, ma’am.” A proud graduate of Ivy Tech School of Nursing, she pursued her profession with passion and selflessness, touching countless lives through her work.

Her husband, Coty Sears, and their newborn twins now face the unimaginable loss of a beloved wife and mother. The community has rallied around them, offering prayers, support, and condolences during this heartbreaking time.

Cheyenne’s legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will live on in her children and all those whose lives she touched. Her spirit, generosity, and warmth will never be forgotten.

Memorial service details will be shared by the family soon, as friends, loved ones, and the community honor the remarkable life of Cheyenne Sears.
