LUBBOCK, Texas — Authorities are investigating a tragic motorcycle crash that occurred Sunday morning near 43rd Street and Milwaukee Avenue, resulting in the death of a 25-year-old man.
The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit reports that officers were called to the scene at 10:49 a.m. regarding a collision involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, Andre Buckman was found with serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates that Buckman was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on the 4200 block of Milwaukee Avenue when an SUV waiting in the turn lane turned left onto 43rd Street. The two vehicles collided, leading to the fatality.
