VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Norfolk Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 26-year-old Malcolm W. Moore of Virginia Beach early Wednesday morning.
Police say officers responded around 1:00 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the 1400 block of East Tanners Creek Drive, near Rosemont Middle School. When they arrived, they found Moore suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting remains ongoing as detectives work to identify who was responsible.
