KENWOOD, Tenn. — The Kenwood community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Malik Parker and Malia Parker, two beloved siblings whose lives were tragically cut short in a devastating car accident. Malia Parker, a student at Kenwood Elementary School, had recently been recognized as Student of the Month for October 2025, a testament to her kindness, curiosity, and dedication. Teachers remember her as thoughtful, compassionate, and always eager to help others. Her bright smile and gentle spirit had a way of making every classroom she entered warmer and more inviting. Classmates recall her as a true friend who brought sincerity and compassion to everyone she met.
Malik Parker, her older brother, was known for his boundless energy, radiant personality, and infectious sense of humor.
