With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Justin Faulkner, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished member of the Hartshorne community. Justin’s life was tragically cut short in a heartbreaking accident while doing something he loved—preparing for the races that brought him joy and purpose.
His wife shared the depth of her grief:
“I don’t even know how to say it. I’m broken. I don’t believe there should be a world without Faulkner! He’s the best human, and I’m so lucky to have had 22 years with him. This is the worst kind of loss. My heart is broken, my heart breaks for Cash and Ridge—they love their dad so much. They are him through and through. Faulkner loved so much and he wanted to make sure everyone around him knew he loved them. Family was everything to him. He absolutely loved being a father.”
Justin’s life was defined by love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family. On the night of his passing, while setting up light plants for the races, he tragically came into contact with an electrical line and was fatally electrocuted. His sudden death leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew him.
A dedicated Laboratory Technician at EST, Inc. since 2008, Justin also studied at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He was respected by colleagues and loved by everyone who knew him. His life was a reflection of his values—hard work, generosity, and above all, family.
The family expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support they have received:
“Thank you to everyone for the calls, messages, prayers, and drop-offs. I am so thankful for the support of family, friends, and community.”
No arrangements have been made at this time, as the family awaits the release of Justin’s remains by the Medical Examiner. Though he is gone too soon, his love, laughter, and devotion will live on in the hearts of his wife and children, Cash and Ridge, and in the many lives he touched.
Justin Faulkner’s memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy of love, family, and kindness will never be forgotten.
