TOLEDO, Ohio — A late-night shooting at a south Toledo business plaza has left one woman dead and two others injured, according to the Toledo Police Department.

Officers were called to the scene around 3 a.m. Sunday after reports of gunfire at 4 South Reynolds Road, a business plaza near the intersection of Hill Avenue and Reynolds Road. Police say the shooting began following a party or gathering at The Weekend Restaurant and Lounge, which spilled out into the parking lot.

When officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Jasmine Queen suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Emergency crews rendered aid at the scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Her death is now being investigated as a homicide, police confirmed Sunday morning.

Two other victims, both believed to be between 19 and 20 years old, were also struck by gunfire. Authorities say both are expected to survive, though their names and conditions have not yet been released.

Several vehicles parked in the plaza were hit by bullets, and investigators remained on scene well into Sunday morning collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. Police have not identified any suspects, and the motive for the shooting remains unclear.

Toledo Police Detective Lt. Dan Gerken said the investigation is ongoing as detectives work to piece together what led to the violence.

Anyone with information or video footage from the area is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. Callers may remain anonymous.
