According to Charleston County Coroner Brittney Martin, Bolger died from a gunshot wound at 1:59 a.m. after officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to reports of gunfire just before 2 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Bolger unresponsive, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. A woman injured during the incident was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police have confirmed that no arrests have yet been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
