In Loving Memory of Brice Lajuan Edwards

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Brice Lajuan Edwards, age 49, who tragically lost his life on Monday night, November 3, 2025, following a fatal vehicle crash in Midwest City, Oklahoma. His sudden death has brought deep sorrow to his family, friends, and all who knew him.

According to reports, the incident began around 8:12 p.m. when Oklahoma County dispatch received a call regarding an assault and vehicle theft in Harrah. Officers soon spotted a vehicle matching the description traveling south on Sooner Road. After refusing to stop, Brice led police on a pursuit that continued through residential areas and onto SE 15th Street.

In an attempt to end the chase, officers used a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) maneuver, which caused the vehicle to collide with another car near 8500 SE 15th Street. Emergency responders performed life-saving measures at the scene, and Brice was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was sadly pronounced deceased. The other driver involved sustained minor injuries.

As the Midwest City Police Department and District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate, Brice’s loved ones are left mourning the loss of a man described as kindhearted, funny, and full of life. He had a giving nature and a warm spirit that touched those who truly knew him.

Brice was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. He faced life’s challenges with resilience and carried a heart that always wanted better days for those around him. His laughter, stories, and gentle strength will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
