In Loving Memory of Hilda Lourdes Gonzalez Terrazas

AMARILLO, Texas — The community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 47-year-old Hilda Lourdes Gonzalez Terrazas of Dalhart, who tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning near Bishop Hills.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. as Hilda was driving south on RM 1061. For reasons still under investigation, her vehicle skidded across the northbound lane, left the roadway, and overturned into a brick fence.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but sadly, Hilda did not survive the crash.

Hilda Lourdes Gonzalez Terrazas will be remembered as a kind, caring, and loving individual whose presence brought warmth to everyone around her. Her sudden passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
