CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Authorities in Chesterfield County are continuing their active search for 19-year-old Latrell Creighton, who remains wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 20-year-old Omarion Bryant of Dinwiddie on October 4, 2025.
According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 20900 block of Third Avenue around 11:02 p.m. after receiving reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. When they arrived, they discovered Bryant suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the investigation, detectives identified Creighton as the suspected shooter and obtained a warrant for second-degree murder. Creighton is described as a Black male, 5’11”, approximately 165 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a distinctive tattoo across the front of his neck. Police warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous, urging anyone who sees him not to approach but to call 911 immediately.
In the days following the homicide, police made two related arrests. On October 6, Jalen Johnson, of Prince George County, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact of homicide. He is currently being held without bond at the Chesterfield County Jail.
Authorities also arrested 39-year-old Cordarious Berry of Hopewell, who is Creighton’s father. Berry faces charges of possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance and possession of ammunition by a felon. He is being held at Riverside Regional Jail on a probation violation.
Investigators believe Creighton may be receiving help to avoid capture and may have traveled to Jackson, Tennessee, where he has family ties. Chesterfield Police are coordinating with Tennessee authorities and asking for the public’s assistance in both states.
