With heavy hearts, we remember Eric Neal Barton, 66, of Corvallis, Oregon, who tragically lost his life in a vehicle accident on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, along Highway 97 in Sherman County. Eric was traveling north in his Chevrolet Impala when a heartbreaking collision occurred, taking him from this world far too soon.
Eric was a kind, hardworking, and compassionate man whose presence brought warmth to everyone who knew him. He was known for his gentle spirit, easy smile, and willingness to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and even strangers. Those who were blessed to share time with him will forever remember his sense of humor, deep conversations, and love for the simple joys of life.
He loved the outdoors, the open roads of Oregon, and cherished time spent with loved ones. His legacy lives on in the memories he created and the lives he touched through his kindness and sincerity.
