COLUMBIA, Mo  —  Authorities have confirmed that 25-year-old Ethan Cash of Columbia has passed away following injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash that occurred on Sunday, November 2, near the intersection of Range Line Street and Rainforest Parkway. Cash had been receiving medical care after the accident, which happened around 3:30 p.m., but tragically did not recover from his injuries.

According to the Columbia Police Department, preliminary information indicates that the crash occurred when another vehicle traveling south on Range Line Street attempted a left turn onto Kennesaw Ridge Road, moving into the path of Cash’s motorcycle. The collision caused severe injuries, and despite the rapid response of police, paramedics, and fire personnel, Cash succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police have not yet indicated whether citations or charges will be filed. The Traffic Unit is actively investigating, reviewing surveillance footage, collecting witness statements, and analyzing evidence to determine the exact sequence of events. Officials are examining factors including road conditions, visibility, and driver actions.

The intersection at Range Line Street and Rainforest Parkway is a busy area, especially on weekends, connecting residential neighborhoods and commercial zones.
