LAGRANGE, Ga. — The LaGrange Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday evening, November 9, 2025.
Authorities say officers were dispatched to 1006 Houston Street around 8:35 p.m. following reports of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive man inside the residence, later identified as Rashidi Grant, 35.
Emergency medical personnel confirmed that Grant had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division responded and have taken over the case. Officials say the investigation remains active and ongoing, and no further information has been released regarding possible suspects or motives.
