Elizabeth “Beth” Hart Stott, age 62, of Campobello, South Carolina, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Thursday, May 22, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Beth’s passing leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on October 23, 1962, Beth was the daughter of the late Bobby and Shirley Hart. She grew up helping her grandparents at their family drive-in, affectionately known as “The Place,” and went on to become a talented drummer in her high school band. A proud graduate of USC Upstate, she earned a degree in Accounting and later enjoyed a fulfilling career, retiring from Spartanburg Medical Center in 2024.
Beth was a woman of quiet strength and deep devotion. Her happiest moments were spent in the comfort of her home, sipping morning coffee while watching The Andy Griffith Show, sharing snuggles with her dogs, enjoying sweet “rock rock” nap times with her granddaughter Carly, and closing each day with her cherished nightly devotionals.
Above all else, Beth loved and lived for her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Phil Stott; her daughter, Alivia Stott Pierce, and son-in-law, Justin Pierce; her precious granddaughter, Carly; her sister, Melanie Owen, and brother-in-law, Mike; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Shirley Hart.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at Petty Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating Beth’s life will follow at 2:30 PM in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Joe White and Rev. Randall Wood. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Beth’s life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and family. Her kind heart, quick wit, and unwavering belief in the goodness of others will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be remembered always and missed forever.
