NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Authorities have identified the man recovered from the Cumberland River last Thursday evening as 60-year-old John P. Lankford of Nashville.
Metro Police confirmed that an autopsy has been completed and showed no signs of trauma. Officials added that there is currently no evidence of foul play connected to Lankford’s death.
The cause and manner of death remain undetermined and will be finalized pending toxicology results and the completion of the investigation.
