GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio – Police have identified the woman killed in a Friday night shooting that also left two others injured.
According to Garfield Heights police, officers responded around 10:15 p.m. on Orme Road near East 130th Street following reports of gunfire. At the scene, officers found 41-year-old Jasmine C. Williams, of Garfield Heights, suffering from gunshot wounds. She was later pronounced dead from her injuries.
Two additional victims were also shot and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
Authorities confirmed that one individual has been arrested in connection with the case. However, police have not released the suspect’s identity or any further details.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine what led to the shooting.
