HARRIMAN, Tenn. — Court documents reveal details surrounding the tragic shooting death of 18-year-old Holden Howse over the weekend, leading to the arrest of 17-year-old Riley Pawlick. Pawlick now faces charges of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence.

According to the court petition, the incident occurred around 4 a.m. Saturday following a party in a garage behind Domino’s Pizza on N. Roane Street. Witnesses stated they heard a gunshot and saw Pawlick holding a handgun. During the drive away from the scene, Pawlick allegedly discarded the firearm from a bridge. The weapon reportedly had an extended magazine, a light, and rubber bands on the handle.

Two victims were transported to Roane County Medical Center. Holden Howse later died from his injuries, while another individual sustained a facial injury. Witnesses told police that an argument had escalated at the party, during which Pawlick allegedly brandished and discharged the weapon.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident. The community mourns the loss of Howse while law enforcement works to piece together the full events leading up to the shooting.
