SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities are seeking Jaquavias Raeshun Moses, 29, following a deadly shooting Wednesday night in unincorporated Wellford.
The victim, 32-year-old Dyshawn Lamar Moore, was pronounced dead at the scene on Tanglewood Road, according to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office. Moore’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
Investigators with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office have identified Moses as the suspected shooter. He is wanted on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The sheriff’s office describes Moses as a 5’9” Black man, with brown hair and eyes, weighing approximately 215 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, light-colored pants, and a blue jacket with possible reflective material.
Authorities warn that Moses is armed and dangerous. Residents are urged not to approach him. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should immediately contact 911 or SCSO Sergeant Jon Guest at (864) 503-4595.
