In Loving Memory of Michael Leonard

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Michael Leonard, 40, of Lafayette, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Southpark Road.

According to officials, Michael was traveling eastbound in the 200 block of Southpark Road when he lost control of his motorcycle. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree before coming to rest. Despite the swift response of authorities, Michael did not survive the crash. The investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.

Michael will be remembered as a cherished son, friend, and community member whose presence touched the lives of many. Known for his love of the open road and the freedom that came with riding, he carried a spirit of independence, adventure, and resilience that those closest to him admired deeply.

While his passing leaves family and friends with profound grief, his memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and love he shared during his life.
