Va. (Sept. 10, 2025) – A murder investigation is underway in Hopewell after a woman was found dead the 300 block of Mesa Drive.
Police said officers were called to the area for reports of a disturbance. When they arrived, they discovered a female victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives quickly secured the area as they began processing evidence and interviewing potential witnesses. No suspect information has been released at this time, and authorities have not disclosed the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation remains active, and Hopewell Police are asking anyone with information to contact them immediately or provide anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers.
