Lexington Man Killed in Moped Crash on Russell Cave Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. – A tragic crash involving a moped in Lexington has claimed the life of a local man.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were called to the scene of the accident around 3:00 p.m. on Russell Cave Road near Dixiana Domino Road. When authorities arrived, they found the moped driver critically injured following a collision with a passenger vehicle. Emergency crews responded swiftly, and the injured man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
