DALLAS, TX — A tragic shooting on the evening of July 10, 2025, has claimed the life of 17-year-old Jaden McMillan, leaving a community in grief and authorities searching for answers.
At approximately 6:40 p.m., Dallas Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 3100 block of Easter Avenue, at the Saint James Apartments. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Jaden had been shot by an unidentified individual. Dallas Fire-Rescue quickly transported him to a local hospital, but despite efforts to save him, Jaden later succumbed to his injuries.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide, and detectives are working diligently to identify and apprehend those responsible.
