FALL RIVER, MA — The community of New Bedford is mourning the loss of 51-year-old Scott Langlois, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday night, October 7, 2025.
According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, the Massachusetts State Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash at approximately 10 p.m. near Exit 2 on Route 24 in Fall River. Upon arrival, officers found Langlois in the grass near the highway crash barrier.
Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where, sadly, he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Authorities confirmed that the crash remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police and the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the District Attorney’s Office. However, officials stated that the incident does not appear to be suspicious.
Scott Langlois will be remembered for his presence within the New Bedford community and the impact he had on those who knew and loved him. His sudden passing leaves family, friends, and loved ones heartbroken as they come together to honor his memory and celebrate his life.
