MILWAUKEE — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 34-year-old Jonny Ballard early Tuesday morning near Hickory and Fond du Lac Avenue, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
The shooting occurred around 2 a.m., when officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they found Ballard suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, he tragically died from his injuries at the scene.
Police have not yet identified a suspect, and the motive behind the shooting remains under investigation. Detectives are actively working to gather evidence and speak with potential witnesses in hopes of bringing those responsible to justice.
