GLASGOW, Ky. — A tragic crash late Friday night claimed the lives of three young people, including a Hart County teen, and left several others injured in Glasgow.

According to a press release from the Glasgow Police Department, the accident occurred around 11:32 p.m. on October 17, 2025, at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and North Jackson Highway.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a 2016 Nissan Altima, driven by 18-year-old Asa Howard of Edmonton, Kentucky, was traveling northbound on North Jackson Highway when it collided with a 2017 Toyota Highlander, driven by Timothy Houchens of Glasgow, who was heading east on Veterans Outer Loop.

Howard and his passenger, 18-year-old Caden French of Glasgow, were transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS to TJ Samson Hospital before being airlifted for treatment of serious injuries. Another passenger, 21-year-old Jabari Sweat of Glasgow, was taken to the same hospital and later released.

Tragically, 18-year-old Emily Corbin of Hart County was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two additional passengers  a 14-year-old from Bowling Green and a 17-year-old from Edmonton also died as a result of the crash.

Houchens and his passenger, Stephen Estes, were also transported to TJ Samson Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Glasgow Police Reconstruction Unit, with assistance from Barren/Metcalfe EMS, Glasgow/Barren County Emergency Management, Hart County EMS, Glasgow Fire Department, Barren County Sheriff’s Department, and the Kentucky State Police.
