CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa  — Authorities have identified the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in Jackson Township as 55-year-old Robert E. Hagen Jr., a resident of the community.

According to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees, the incident took place shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Heritage Lane. When emergency responders arrived, they found Hagen inside his pickup truck suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Lees confirmed that Hagen died from massive blood loss caused by the gunshot injury, and his death has been officially ruled a homicide.

The Cambria County District Attorney’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police are actively investigating the case. Authorities have emphasized that the shooting appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Investigators were seen processing the scene throughout the morning, gathering evidence and interviewing neighbors as they work to determine what led to the deadly encounter.
