WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis  — Authorities in Wisconsin Rapids have released new details surrounding two tragic and unrelated homicide investigations that took place Friday, leaving the community shaken and two families grieving unimaginable losses.

Police have now identified the victims as 34-year-old Antoni Quinones and 56-year-old Randall Harris Sr., both of whom died from injuries sustained in separate incidents on October 31, 2025. While investigators say the two homicides occurred within hours of each other, they have confirmed the incidents are not connected and appear to be isolated cases.

According to the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, officers responded to a call at a residence on 11th Street South, where they discovered Randall Harris Sr. deceased. Following an investigation, authorities arrested 34-year-old Randall Harris Jr., the victim’s son, in connection with the homicide. He was taken into custody without further incident and is currently being held at the Wood County Jail.

In a separate case, officers were dispatched to a home on 21st Avenue South, where they found Antoni Quinones suffering from severe injuries. Quinones was immediately transported to Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries despite emergency efforts to save him.

Police have not yet released details about potential suspects or motives in Quinones’ death, but the investigation remains active. Detectives are continuing to gather evidence and conduct interviews to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.

Officials have confirmed that autopsies for both victims are scheduled for November 3 in Madison. The findings are expected to provide additional clarity as investigators work to piece together what happened in both cases.

The Wisconsin Rapids community has been left in deep sorrow over the loss of two lives in a single day. Friends and loved ones of both victims are mourning the sudden and tragic circumstances that claimed their lives, while police continue their efforts to bring justice and closure to the grieving families.
