Shreveport, Louisiana — The Shreveport community is mourning the tragic loss of Armonii Anderson, lovingly known as “Karlei Raí,” who was killed in a heartbreaking domestic-related shooting ended in a devastating crash on Sunday afternoon
According to the Shreveport Police Department, officers and emergency crews responded to reports of a shooting and vehicle crash around 4:17 p.m. near Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway. When first responders arrived, they found a Nissan Altima that had crashed, with a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. A small child was also in the vehicle but was unharmed.
Both victims were rushed to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, where Armonii Anderson, just 26 years old, was sadly pronounced dead. The male victim remains in stable condition as detectives continue their investigation into what police believe was a domestic incident that escalated to violence.
Authorities say the shots were fired while the victims were inside the vehicle, which then crashed as they tried to escape. The investigation remains ongoing, with detectives reviewing evidence and surveillance footage to identify those responsible.
Armonii is remembered as a kind, vibrant, and loving young woman whose smile could light up any room. Friends and family describe her as a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and a beautiful soul taken far too soon. Her death has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her.
