BILLINGSLEY, Ala. — The Billingsley community is grieving the sudden and tragic loss of Jessica Fortenberry, 54, who passed away in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning on Chilton County 37 near Chilton County 76.

Jessica was a long-time resident of Billingsley, cherished by family, friends, and neighbors alike. Known for her kindness, warmth, and caring spirit, she touched the lives of everyone around her. Her sudden passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

The tragic crash, which occurred around 2:45 a.m. on Nov. 3, resulted in Jessica being ejected from the vehicle. Authorities confirmed that she was not wearing a seat belt, contributing to the severity of her injuries.
