Tracy Danielle Daigle Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Tom Green County

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Authorities have confirmed the death of Tracy Danielle Daigle, 56, of Grape Creek, following a four-vehicle crash in Tom Green County on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The tragic incident occurred near the intersection of U.S. Highway 87 and March Road around 7:57 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS).

Preliminary reports indicate that Daigle was driving a Ford Focus southbound on March Road when she disregarded a stop sign at the intersection. Her vehicle was struck by a westbound Ford Fusion in the inside lane of U.S. 87. The impact caused the left rear tire of the Ford Focus to detach, which was then struck by a Chevrolet Equinox traveling westbound in the outside lane. A Toyota pickup traveling behind the Equinox was also involved, striking the rear of the Chevrolet when the driver could not control their speed.

Tragically, Tracy Daigle was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities noted that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. A 33-year-old man from Carlsbad driving the Ford Fusion sustained minor injuries, while the drivers of the Chevrolet Equinox and Toyota pickup, both San Angelo residents, were unharmed.

TxDPS reported that weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash. This collision marks the second fatal accident in Tom Green County during the week of November 2, following the death of 21-year-old Steven Lake Tucker of San Angelo in a separate crash on U.S. 87 earlier in the week.

The community of Grape Creek and Tom Green County mourns the loss of Tracy Danielle Daigle, a beloved member of the community. Her family, friends, and neighbors are left to grieve the sudden and tragic loss, remembering her kindness, warmth, and presence in their lives.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash, and the Texas Department of Public Safety urges all drivers to observe traffic signals and drive safely to prevent similar tragedies.
