MILLSBORO, Del. — Delaware State Police are investigating a tragic two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Millsboro man Friday afternoon, November 7, 2025, marking the second fatal accident reported in Sussex County that day.
According to investigators, the collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. on John J. Williams Highway near Layton Davis Road. A westbound Dodge Ram, driven by 76-year-old Peter Roskowski of Millsboro, reportedly crossed the center line and struck the front left side of an eastbound Ford box truck.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Roskowski succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Ford, a 63-year-old man from Cape Coral, Florida, was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
