Butler County Crash Claims Life of Alabaster Man


Butler County, AL — A tragic single-vehicle crash late Monday night has claimed the life of 23-year-old Cameron Brice Acreman of Alabaster. The fatal accident occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. on July 14, 2025, along U.S. Highway 31, about three miles south of Greenville’s city limits.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division, Acreman was driving a 1998 Ford F-150 when the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a ditch. Authorities confirmed that he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The loss of such a young life has left the Alabaster and Butler County communities heartbroken. Friends and family remember Cameron as a kind-hearted individual with a bright future ahead of him. His untimely passing serves as a somber reminder of the importance of road safety and seat belt use.
