It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of Zion Pablo, age 21, who died in the early hours of Friday, July 18, 2025, following a devastating car accident near 15th Street and Sheridan in Tulsa.
Just before 3:00 a.m., Zion was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed into a concrete building and caught fire near 6800 E. 15th St.. Responding officers arrived swiftly and found the car engulfed in flames with Zion trapped inside. Risking their own safety, two officers forced the door open and pulled him from the wreckage. Zion and the driver were both transported to a local hospital, but tragically, Zion succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the vehicle had been traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway, struck a curb, and crashed into the building. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Zion will be remembered for his vibrant energy, kind heart, and the bright future he held ahead. His sudden loss has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Details regarding memorial services will be shared by the family at a later time. The community is invited to keep Zion’s loved ones in their thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time.
