Allecia Wolfe Obituary, Death – Authorities have launched a murder investigation following the tragic discovery of a Florida woman’s body in a field behind the Truckers Inn in Manchester, Tennessee.
The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Allecia Wolfe, also known by her family name, Allecia Carnley. The news has left her loved ones devastated and searching for answers—particularly how she ended up over 600 miles from her hometown of Orlando.
Allecia’s daughter, Aleah Carnley, was in the process of filing a missing person report when she was met with the heartbreaking news at her front door.
“I was holding my son when the officer came. I collapsed,” Carnley shared. “My grandmother and I had both felt that something was wrong. We hadn’t heard from her in days, and deep down, we feared the worst. Even though I had a feeling, it was still the last thing I wanted to hear.”
According to law enforcement, Wolfe’s body showed no immediate signs of visible trauma such as gunshot or stab wounds, yet investigators are treating her death as a homicide. Authorities continue to follow active leads and are working closely with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Manchester Police Department.
Carnley stated that her mother was last seen by friends late Friday night in Orlando, entering a black vehicle. Her body was discovered three days later in Manchester, a location unfamiliar and unconnected to any known part of Wolfe’s life.
“She struggled with addiction, and yes, she did street work,” Carnley said candidly. “But she never mentioned being involved with truckers or anything like that. It makes no sense why she would end up near a truck stop in Tennessee. We have no family or reason to be in that state—it’s completely baffling.”
The family is left heartbroken, desperate not just for closure but for justice.
“I’ll never get my mother back,” Carnley said. “But I just want to know what happened. We deserve that.”
In an effort to cover funeral expenses and honor Allecia’s memory, the family has launched a GoFundMe campaign. They are also pleading for anyone with information about the case to come forward and contact authorities.
District Attorney Craig Northcott confirmed that the case remains active and that investigators are working diligently to piece together what led to Wolfe’s tragic death.
The Wolfe family hopes that public awareness and compassion will help uncover the truth and bring peace to a grieving daughter still trying to understand the loss of her mother.
