A tragic crash on Interstate 95 in Stonington, Connecticut, has claimed the life of 52-year-old Shawn Twomey, a New Haven resident. According to Connecticut State Police, the fatal accident occurred late Wednesday morning on the southbound side of the highway, near Exit 91.
Troopers from Troop E in Montville responded to the scene shortly after receiving a call at approximately 11:33 a.m. Preliminary reports indicate that Twomey was operating a motorcycle when he collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer.
