It is with deep sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Joe Crosse, beloved husband, father, firefighter, and community champion. Joe died on 24th July 2025 as the result of a tragic accident, leaving behind a legacy of courage, compassion, and service.
Joe was a dedicated member of the Ennistymon Fire Brigade, known not only for his bravery and commitment on the front lines but also for his tireless charity fundraising, particularly through marathons he ran to support local causes. His selflessness, energy, and kind heart earned him the love and respect of all who knew him.
Joe will be forever missed by his heartbroken wife Brid, his cherished children Teagan and Odhran, his loving sisters Joanne, Olivia, and Tricia, and his brother Tom. He is also mourned by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, parents-in-law Brendan and Mary, his nieces, nephews, extended family, his dear friend Pat, his neighbours, a wide circle of friends, and his devoted colleagues in the Fire Brigade.
Funeral Arrangements:
Joe will repose at Clouna Church, Ennistymon (V95 E126) on Sunday, 27th July, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, 28th July, at 12 noon, followed by burial in the Old Cemetery, Ennistymon.
