DUNDAS, ON — July 27, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 77 Governors Road in Dundas. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim in his 30s suffering from gunshot wounds. He was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Hamilton Police Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. As a result, residents should expect a significant police presence in the area for several hours as officers work to secure the scene, gather evidence, and speak with witnesses.
At this time, the victim’s identity has not been publicly confirmed, and no arrests have been announced. Investigators are urging anyone with information that could assist in solving this case to come forward.
