In Loving Memory of Kaylan Faulkner, Reno, NV
It is with deep sorrow that we share the tragic passing of Kaylan Faulkner, who lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Stead Blvd in Reno on May 29th, 2025. He was just 31 years old.
Kaylan was known by those who loved him as a bright spirit—someone full of energy, compassion, and loyalty. He was a devoted son to Shelly Robinson, a source of strength and joy to his family, and a steadfast friend to many. His loss is a devastating blow to all who knew him, particularly his mother, Shelly, who has already endured more than her share of hardship.
Born and raised in Reno, Kaylan was no stranger to motorcycles. Growing up surrounded by them, he developed both a respect for riding and a true passion for the road. He was considered a responsible and experienced rider, often reminding others of the importance of safety and control. His love for motorcycles wasn’t just a hobby—it was a way of life, one that connected him with a larger community and gave him purpose.
But Kaylan’s greatest gift wasn’t his riding skill or love of adventure—it was his unwavering support for others. Whether showing up for a friend in need, making someone laugh on a tough day, or simply being present, Kaylan gave of himself freely. His vibrant personality had a way of lighting up any room, and his presence will be sorely missed.
As his family navigates this profound loss, they ask for continued prayers and support, especially for his mother, who was not only his parent but his closest confidante.
A memorial service is being planned, and details will be shared once finalized. In the meantime, the community is encouraged to honor Kaylan’s memory by living with the same passion, generosity, and authenticity that he brought into the world every day.
Please keep the Faulkner and Robinson families in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
