A lifelong resident of Hampstead and graduate of Topsail High School, Michael built deep roots in his hometown from a young age. His values of honesty, hard work, and compassion were shaped in this community and reflected in every aspect of his life. He was the kind of person who made others feel welcomed, supported, and seen — whether you had known him for years or were meeting him for the first time.
Michael was best known professionally through his work at Advanced Automotive Repair, where he wasn’t just a highly skilled mechanic — he was the heart of the shop. Customers returned not only for excellent service, but for the trust and care they felt in every interaction with Michael. He built his reputation on doing things the right way: with honesty, precision, and a sincere desire to help others.

His loss is deeply felt not only by his immediate family but also by his extended family, longtime friends, and close colleagues. His business partner and friend, John Howland, and John’s wife, Staci, along with friends Ronnie, Tim, and Colby, share in the heartbreak of losing someone who was more than a coworker — he was family. Michael’s presence in their lives was one of consistency, loyalty, and light.
