Jon Andrew Fehrenbacher Obituary
Jon Andrew Fehrenbacher, 66, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, as the result of an accident on the Ohio River.
Jon was born on September 29, 1958, in Evansville to the late Melvin “Dick” and Rose Marie (Folz) Fehrenbacher. Jon was a pipefitter by trade and a member of Pipefitter’s Local 136. He worked in maintenance at Whirlpool for many years and also farmed. Jon was a great provider for his family and always generous with his time. You could count on him to show up to help fix something that was broken or to help with a project. He was a member of the Knights of St. John Commandery 282 and also the Small Craft Boat Club.
Jon’s final weekend on earth was spent doing what he loved; boating with his family at Lake Barkley.
Surviving Jon are his wife of 44 years, Patty (Voelker) Fehrenbacher; two children and their spouses, Amanda and Patrick Craig and Lee and Sara Fehrenbacher; a brother and sister-in-law, Melvin, Jr. and Dolly Fehrenbacher, and grandchildren, Charlie and Chesney Craig and Liam, Logan, and Lucas Fehrenbacher.
There will be a celebration of Jon’s life held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at the Knights of St. John at St. Wendel Commandery 282, 11714 Winery Road, Wadesville, IN 47638.
