Tragic Loss of Officer Toalua “Charlie” Aumua

On August 1st, 2025, the community was devastated by the tragic loss of Officer Toalua “Charlie” Aumua, who was taken from his family, friends, and the Temple Police Department in a boating accident. Charlie’s untimely passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew him, from his colleagues on the force to the countless community members he served with unwavering dedication.

Officer Aumua was not only a hero in uniform but a compassionate soul whose commitment to protecting and serving was evident in every action he took. His bravery, professionalism, and genuine care for others resonated deeply with his fellow officers and the residents of the community. Charlie’s legacy of service, marked by selflessness and integrity, will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
