74-Year-Old William Loyd Ogans Killed in Pedestrian Crash on OK-123

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — A tragic pedestrian crash in Washington County has claimed the life of a Dewey man, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Authorities reported that William Loyd Ogans, 74, was struck and killed Saturday night around 9:45 p.m. while walking along OK-123. The driver of the vehicle involved was identified as Taylor Nicole Fairchild, 23, of Bartlesville.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed Ogans was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details regarding the cause of the crash were included in the agency’s press release, and the incident remains under investigation.
